NEC has introduces another eco-friendly LCD monitor for the mass market namely the AccuSync AS171. This new 17-inch LED-backlit LCD monitor is compliant with Energy Star 5.0, TCO 5.0 and EPEAT Silver, and consumes 21% less power compared to its predecessor. Apart from that, the AS171 also provides 1280 x 1024 native resolution, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 5ms response time and has DVI-D, VGA and D-Sub connectors.
